Description
The girl in kimono has been in my project folder for months now. I was going to use her for a tattoo design for my brother but then something happened and now he’s gone.
Anyway, I thought now would be the appropriate time to finally use her in a piece. I can somehow relate to Japan, although what happened to them was 50 times more devastating. They were consumed by water and my brother was consumed by fire. Losing something without warning— the impact, the aftermath— is just unexplainable.
So I guess this piece turned out to be more personal than I intended it to be.
